Find lost vehicle/car using mobile

Lost your car???? Oh God it will be a hard time to get back your lost car...If your car or any vehicle been stolen you will feel like a hell to recover back ... You have to lodge a complaint, you have to wait for days or months but that could be very rare chance of getting back very soon....

I found an impressive idea through a facebook post which my friend shared. This is pretty simple idea with which you can able to track the lost vehicle with thr help of a mobile phone.

All you need is

1)A low end mobile with long battery life.

2)A sim card which is having a greater coverage in you locality.

Do the following,

1) Switch On and Keep the mobile in silent mode.

2)Place the phone in your car in such a way that no one finds it very easily than you.

3)Make sure about the place where you hide the phone is not reduce the network coverage.

Thats it,if you lose your vehicle this will be a very good relief so that you could inform about this to the police.they will track the number...ha ha ....pretty easy right. But dont forget to recharge the mobile frequently...

How to choose right tyres for cars?

Each car owners always worries about "How could I reduce my car' fuel consumption?".
There are so many factors which influence the fuel consumption of every car. Even though each car is designed to deliver a 100% efficient there were several other facts which the owner should be very conscious for maintaining the 100% efficiency.
The Tyres of a car is one of the main factors which influence the fuel consumption by the car.

I would like to share  some information which I got from several websites.

The main factors that must be considered for choosing a good tyre for a car are as follows:

1)Tyre Type[Tubeless or Tube-Type]
2)Size of the Tyre
3)Tread Pattern
4)Rubber Compound
5)Quality and Reliability Factors

1)TYRE TYPE
The best choice of tyre for a car is "TubeLess Tyres" becaouse these type of tyres will have somany advantages than ordinary Tube Tyres.

2)SIZE OF THE TYRE
The next main factor is size of the tyre.Usually the size of the tyre is represented in a standard format as for example..234/55 R 10 in which,

234 is width of the tread in the tyre represented in mm.
55 is Height of the sidewall represented in percentage of width of the tread.
R is the Radial Construction
15 is the diameter of the wheel in inches.

3)TREAD PATTERN
Tread pattern is the important factor which plays a vital role in friction between road and car thus can prevent skidding, accident etc.,
There are several types of patterns that includes

       Conventional Tread

       Uni-Directional Tread

       Asymmetric

4)RUBBER COMPOUND
The last and most important factor is the rubber used to make the tyres. Before buying a tyre the Rubber Compound must be checked without any compromise. The quality or softness of the rubber is proportional to the amount of traction and the speed rating of the tyre, and inversely proportional to the treadlife of the tyre. Therefore the higher the speed rating of a tyre, the better is the grip of the tyre to ground.

5)Quality and Reliability Factors
The Quality and reliable factors that determine the quality of the tyres are

            The Reputation of the Manufacturer
            Warranty
            Manufacturing Date
            New Technologies

Together with above mentioned factors we can select the appropriate tyres which can help in improving the maintenance of the cars.

As in driving everyone must took care of everyone safety by our own. There are so many safety features available for four driving and other heavy vehicle, but for two wheelers??? The helmet is the biggest safety feature available for all class of people. Even though it has to be asked to wear helmets by compulsion in some parts because of its size and its own disadvantages...

To eliminate this complications a cool but wildest and sensible helmet is now designed very technically. This helmet is just an airbag which can be wearable over the neck just like the collar for our shirts. Inside the collar it incorporates sensors that continuously senses and inflate the airbag whenever there is a chance of or heading being hited on the ground. The sensor has a series of gyroscopes and accelerometers and has been configured to only fire when there is an accident and not while standard bicycle moves like bending down or dismounting. The sensor inflates the air bag with helium gas which protects the head from severe damage...

Check out the test video...

This helmet was named as Hövding which was designed by Swedish students and it will be expected to come into the market by 2011 and its price is estimated to be Aapproximately 1498 SEK(Sweden kronor) and 17,000INR( Indian rupee)

TIPS FOR REDUCING FUEL CONSUMPTION IN CARS

Maintaining the car is the very important to have a better performance. The consumption of fuel is also must be watched to maintain an engine in good condition and also to save money. The basic tips that were collected in the net to reduce the fuel consumption are as follows.

Turn off the car
It is advised to turn off the car when it is idle, because when it is idle for more than 10 seconds it will consume more fuel than re starting the engine

Check out the tires
Tires also must be checked regularly, because under-inflated tires increase the level of fuel consumption of the vehicle. Please do checking the tire pressure once in a month.

Avoid dragging the engine
It is advised to have a slow driving while climbing on long hills and also applying light throttle while climbing hills can also save fuel protects the engine from overheating.

Gradually increase speed
Always have a gradual start and also stop it in a steady manner.

Avoid any jerks
Many people end up constantly pumping the throttle, which leads to unwanted loss of fuel.

Stay in low gears
Shifting gears at the lowest revolutions per minute assists in improving your gas mileage.

Keep windows shut
Even windows also help in reducing the fuel consumption. Driving with windows open will reduce the fuel efficiency. So it is better to keep windows shut and the air conditioning on instead.

Use duel saver tires
While looking for replacement tires, it is advised to look for the duel saver types. They will have labels on them such as economizer, low rolling resistance or even labels like energy.

Stabilize the speed of the vehicle
Make more use of the advanced technologies like cruise control on highways, as this will help to promote consistent speed and increase the fuel efficiency.

Get regular tune-ups
It is advised to have a regular tune up when ever starting for a trip, because it will reduce the future problems with engines while driving rather than reducing the fuel consumption

Drive straight
Avoid turning wherever possible, because more fuel is consumed in turnings and also waiting for turnings. So avoid unwanted turnings.

     Avoid traffic congestion
Frequent stopping consumes a huge amount of fuel. So drive accordingly to save fuel.
